Monkeypox

Since both the State of California and the federal government declared a public health emergency, we have received several questions about monkeypox and schools.  At this time, we have not received any official public health guidance, however, according to Stanislaus County Health Services Agency, the risk to the general public is very low. Children are not in a high risk group currently unless they reside in the household of a case. We have included on this page various public health resources for those interested in learning more. We encourage those with questions or concerns to contact their primary health care provider.
