Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP)

ELOP Update

July 31, 2025

Dear TUSD Community,

Thank you to our TUSD community for your ongoing communication and patience related to the ELOP program. We are very pleased to announce that we have successfully filled 140 vacancies and have staffed positions across before, during, and after school programs. This has allowed us to enroll 227 students in our before-school program183 TK/K in the AM/PM during-school program, and 1,195 students in our after-school program Currently, we still need to hire for additional positions.  As we continue to accept enrollment, please know that we remain committed to hiring enough staff to meet all enrollment needs.  Also, if you enrolled after July 25, please know that we are working diligently to secure a seat for your student in the program.   While we are making every effort to make this possible, we cannot guarantee placement by August 12, the first day of school.

As a reminder, in addition to the ELOP Program, the City of Turlock ASES Program is offered at the following schools: Brown, Crowell, Cunningham, Osborn, Wakefield, and Turlock Junior High School.  For more information, visit the Community Pass website.

Again, thank you for your patience and support.  We look forward to partnering with you through these programs.
