In an effort to keep you informed of a potential safety threat, today at approximately 7:30 AM a Dutcher Middle School 7th grade student notified a campus supervisor about an incident that occurred on the way to school. The student reported that an adult male on a bicycle approached and made ethnic slurs towards her. The adult male also brandished a knife and made threatening comments. The incident occurred on Hawkeye between Olive and Colorado Avenue. Upon receiving this information Turlock Police Department was immediately contacted and a search of the surrounding area has begun and will continue throughout the day. The adult in question was wearing a black hat and sweatshirt and was riding a bicycle. En un esfuerzo por mantenerlo informado sobre una posible amenaza de seguridad, hoy, aproximadamente a las 7:30 am, un estudiante de 7º grado de Dutcher notificó a un Supervisor Escolar de Dutcher sobre un incidente que ocurrió en el camino a la escuela. El estudiante informó que un hombre adulto en bicicleta se acercó e hizo insultos étnicos hacia ella. El hombre también mostró un cuchillo y amenazó con dañar al estudiante. El incidente ocurrió en Hawkeye Avenue, cerca de Olive y Colorado Avenue. Cuando el personal de la escuela recibió esta información, el Departamento de Policía de Turlock fue contactado de inmediato y se inició una búsqueda en el área cercana. El adulto en cuestión estaba en bicicleta y llevaba un sombrero negro y una sudadera.
