The District is taking all necessary steps to prevent and mitigate the effects of COVID-19. In the interest of public health, and in compliance with CA Governor Newsom’s & County Public Health's Emergency Executive Orders, the TUSD Board of Trustees will conduct Board Meetings via livestream through the school suspension period with public comments for agendized and non-agendized (regular Board Meetings only) items being emailed to Publiccomment@turlock.k12.ca.us.

Members of the Board and essential staff will be present in the Board room to conduct the Board business. Board and staff seating will meet social distancing guidelines.

Effective December 10, 2020: Process for Public Comments
To enhance public participation with Board Meeting Agendas during COVID-19: Members of the public may provide comments to the Board via email at Publiccomment@turlock.k12.ca.us. All public comments will be limited to 3 minutes, a limit of approximately 450 words. Any portion of your comment extending past the 450 word limit may not be read aloud due to time restrictions. All written comments that are not read into the record will be made part of the meeting minutes, provided that such comments are received prior to the end of the meeting. Please be aware that written public comments, including your name, may become public information.
Electronic Submission of Public Comment on Non Agendized Items: The public comment time is reserved for individuals who may wish to address the Governing Board regarding a matter that is not on the agenda (Regular Board Meetings only). In light of the changed Board Meeting format due to COVID-19, you may email Publiccomment@turlock.k12.ca.us beginning the date of the specific agenda posting. Members of the public may provide comments to the Board via email prior to and through the public comment period for non-agenda items.
Electronic Submission of Public Comments on Agendized Items: Public Comments for agendized items may be emailed to Publiccomment@turlock.k12.ca.us beginning the date of the specific agenda posting. In the subject line, please identify, as applicable, the agenda item the comment addresses, including the agenda item number and title. If you wish to submit a public comment on more than one agenda item, please send a separate e-mail for each item on which you are commenting. Emails may be received for items listed on the agenda up until the discussion on that item is closed.
Note: There is no period of Public Comment for non-agenda items at a Special Board Meeting.
Due to the recent order by Governor Newsom and Stanislaus County to wear masks/face coverings in public buildings, masks/face coverings will be required at TUSD Board Meetings. Thank you for your cooperation.
