Athletic Trainer

  • The certified athletic trainer (ATC) at Turlock High School provides a comprehensive athletic health care program for all student-athletes. Primary responsibilities may include injury prevention, the reduction of further injury and properly administering of immediate care and in conjunction with school physician, the development of the "return to play" policy.

    Under the direction of a physician, the certified athletic trainer develops an emergency action plan for the school's athletic department in the event of a life-threatening injury and maintains expertise in emergency procedures. It is the responsibility of the ATC to obtain pertinent medical histories, to keep records for injury evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation, and to provide the daily evaluation of injuries as well as the preventative, rehabilitation and reconditioning treatments.

About Me

  • I started my journey locally in Patterson, CA. I graduated from Patterson High School class of 2015. I was a four-sport athlete and was Athlete of the Year my senior year. After graduation, I attended Humboldt State University and played Women's Rugby for all four years. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science and Health Promotion in 2019. I decided to continue my education and traveled oversea to the island of Oahu, HI. I attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and graduated with a Master's of Science in Athletic Training and became a Board Certified Athletic Trainer. I have had the opportunity of working with UH Division I Football, Baseball and Women's Volleyball. During my time in HI, I had the pleasure of working Hula Bowl, College All-Star game, and So-Fi Hawai'i Bowl. After graduation I moved to Utah and the opportunity of working under a Sports Medicine physician in clinic. I was also the athletic trainer for a minor league football team called Salt Lake Senate.
