When is the last day to register?
The last day to register is typically three weeks after classes begin. View the Schedule of Classes for exact dates. Career Technical Education and Community Education registration continues until either the first day of class OR the maximum enrollment is met/the class is full.”

Do I have to take a test before I enroll?
Students enrolling in Career Technical Education or Community Education classes DO NOT need to take the CASAS test. All other students are required to take both a pre- and a post-test each year. Please contact the office for further information.

When can I take the CASAS test?
You will be given a testing appointment when you call to register for classes. You will not be enrolled in any classes until you have tested.

Can I register online?
Students can register online for classes in the Career Technical Education and Community Education programs only. All other programs register by phone.

Can I register by phone?
Phone registration is available for High School Diploma, High School Equivalency, Adult Basic Education, ESL and Citizenship classes.

Can I attend the class if I am on the waitlist?
No, please wait until someone from the TAS office has contacted you before attending.

How much do classes cost?
ABE, ASE, Citizenship and ESL classes are free. Costs for all other classes are listed in their course description.

How old do I have to be to attend Turlock Adult School?
Students attending TAS must be at least 18 years of age. Emancipated minors/teen parents may enroll in the High School Diploma program if they are under 18 and not able to attend a traditional diploma program.

What is your refund policy?
NO REFUNDS will be given unless a class is cancelled by Turlock Adult School.
