Dear Parents/Guardians of Wakefield Elementary Students,

Welcome to a new school year! We are excited to begin this year with the progression of the Dual Language Immersion program into fourth grade. The goal of the program is for students to achieve bilingualism and biliteracy in both Spanish and English.  This year we will welcome our neighborhood students into our new English only classes for K-6^th grade.

Our staff collaborates with students and families to recognize and promote positive behavior. Our primary goal is to do what is best for students by providing a safe environment and ensuring focus on our students. Wakefield staff builds positive relationships with students and families and acknowledges both academic and social success. Our staff is committed to providing the best education for your child.

We value the importance of maintaining positive communication with our students, parents and school community. We encourage parents to please get involved and participate in programs and activities with your child and your child’s teacher.
