Online Score Reporting Information
Beginning with the 2019-2020 school year, Turlock Unified School District will be launching Online Data Confirmation for grades TK-12 and electronic delivery of California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) Student Score Reports.
Online Data Confirmation (TK-12): Online Data Confirmation allows parents to modify or enter student demographics, contacts, medical conditions, and authorization information instead of having to complete the forms in the “First Day Packet.” This process handles the normal “re-registration” when parents are annually required to fill out new emergency cards, sign various documents, and establish authorizations. This process replaces the completion of the annual “First Day Packets”. The Data Confirmation window is open for use.
Student Score Reports: The State Board of Education approved electronic distribution of California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) Student Score Reports. Student Score Reports will be made available electronically. Parents will no longer receive them by mail as in past years. Parents will be able to access their student’s electronic Student Score Report online through a secure account in the TUSD Family Link Parent Portal. Benefits of electronic student score reports:
- Convenience – access through most devices.
- Quick – earlier access to student scores.
- Accessible – available in multiple languages.
- Engaging – dynamic information about student progress.
To prepare for these changes, parents will need to have a TUSD Family Link parent portal account. TUSD Family Link parent portal is an online program available to parents/guardians that provides a method for the district to communicate with parents. The portal can be accessed from your home computer or through a smartphone application.
By establishing a parent portal account parents can: 1) complete the Online Data Confirmation process 2) access your student’s school information such as assignments, test results, attendance records, grades, and much more throughout the year. You will need a personal email address, the primary telephone number on your student’s account, the student’s permanent ID number and a verification passcode. Your student’s school will be sending letters home with instructions to assist you with setting up an account if you do not currently have one.
If you have any questions regarding setting up a TUSD Family Link Parent Portal account, please contact your student’s school for more information.
