COVID19 School Closture:
Access to Materials
For Pitman High School Classes
A large majority of our teachers use Google Classroom for their day to day classroom instruction and tool for pushing out assignments, resources, and information to their students. During the TUSD suspension of on campus learning, this is an excellent platform for accessing materials and resources.
Teachers will be available by email during normal school hours to answer questions or provide you with directiion and guidance. Monitoring Google Classroom and emailing teachers with questions should be the first step in identifying what classwork is needed. If you are unable to reach a teacher for any reason, contact our front office or counseling and we will assist you as quickly as possible.
In the event your Chrome book is damaged or not working, please bring it to the Pitman High office so that we can run a check and provide a loaner, if needed. There will also be information provided on the District and site website with some helpful tips and tricks for troubleshooting some of the more common issues.
Important: If you do not have access to the internet or the ability to print materials, as needed, please contact the Pitman High School office at 209-656-1592. Our office will have access to all materials the teacher posts on Google classroom. Our library will also be available to check out a novel or textbook if needed for an assignment issued. Pitman's office hours during the shutdown will be from 8:00am - 4:00pm.
The Pitman High School Prom has been rescheduled to May 16th at the Assyrian-American Civic Center from 8:00 pm-11:00 pm.
AP Test Payment deadline has been adjusted to April 24th
