Admission Requirements

  • Turlock Adult School is open to all persons 18 or older; you do not need to be a Turlock resident. In some cases, concurrently enrolled high school students may voluntarily enroll in classes required for a high school diploma; concurrent students MUST MEET WITH THEIR HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELOR for approval before being allowed to enroll in Turlock Adult School classes. The purpose of allowing concurrently enrolled students is to supplement and enrich the opportunity for qualified high school students to progress toward meeting the educational requirements for graduation from high school. Note: California Education Code mandates that adults have priority when enrolling in all courses.

  • Online registration is available for many Turlock Adult School classes.  Click ASAP Connected to be taken to the online registration website. There is a $2.50 fee per transaction (this fee is paid to the hosting site, not to Turlock Adult School); you may register for multiple classes in one transaction.

Please note: the following classes cannot be registered for online; you must register in the TAS office.

    • High School Diploma
    • ESL
    • GED

Note: Adult high school diploma students must complete an assessment test and meet with a counselor BEFORE registering.
