MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staph Aureus)
As some of you know, there has been a growing regional, state and national concern regarding MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staph Aureus), a type of staph infection that may be resistant to some antibiotics. Although generally harmless when recognized early, individuals with a cut, an abrasion or some form of minor skin problem may be subject to more serious infection if left untreated.
The links below are Parent Information brochures distributed by the California Department of Public Health on MRSA. If you have any questions, concerns or further need of clarification please contact our Student Services Department at (209) 667-0887.
